Can you feel it? The crispness in the air? As I’m writing this, it’s early August, but we’ve already had a couple of crisp fall-ish days here in central Maine. Here’s what’s happening with your classmates:
Paul Anderson ’86G, currently the director of the Maine Sea Grant College Program, will step down to become the executive director of the Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries.
Kathryn Roberts King resigned her teaching job at Hampden Academy and is suing the school district for age discrimination after she was passed over to be the head indoor/outdoor track coach and the job was given to a younger man with no coaching experience. Kathryn has 30 years of track coaching experience and said, “There isn’t an event I’m not qualified to coach.”
Get outside and enjoy the fall colors and crisp air—see you at Homecoming weekend.
