Matt Mulligan is again in the headlines. In January, the tight end for the Detroit Lions donated his Super Bowl LI tickets to the Celebrities for Charity’s “Big Game” fundraising raffle. Celebrities for Charity is a nonprofit organization that “unites the goodwill of celebrities with the generosity of their fans.” They ran this fundraiser as a benefit for the Flutie Foundation. The winner of the raffle received a VIP package including a trip for two to the Super Bowl, event passes, and travel. Matt stated that he met his wife at a Flutie Foundation event, so this was especially important to him.
I have also received info that classmate Jake Albee has been named retail sales manager for the U.S. Cellular store in the Bangor Mall. He has been with U.S. Cellular for more than seven years. Congrats, Jake!
