Happy spring, fellow classmates! I trust this finds you well and healthy!
There was a great article in September’s Bangor Daily News about our classmate Fran Loring, who has taken numerous trips to Greece to work with refugees. Fran is a retired nurse and, along with her sisters, has made four trips to Lesbos. I really urge you to check it out!
And, exciting news for my fellow Presque Isle High School classmate Todd Gammon. He was inducted into the PIHS Athletic Hall of Fame in January! At PIHS Todd was a multi-sport athlete, earning varsity letters in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He was also an all-star and conference MVP and all-state in baseball as a junior and senior, then a senior all-star in basketball. To top it off, Todd graduated in the top five percent of our class and was a two-year recipient of the Big East Scholar-Athlete Award. Todd lives in southern Maine and works in civil engineering design and construction management. Congratulations, Todd!
