Hello again, Class of 2006! I don’t have many updates to report this time — feel free to contact me by email to let me know what you have been up to!
Ann Barker Wilkins G is currently a Major in the United States Air Force. She provides outpatient counseling and inpatient assessment as a dietician.
Alice Kelley Ph.D. is an associate research professor at the University of Maine Climate Change Institute. She has been researching shell heaps (shell middens), some of which are thousands of years old, left by Native Americans along the coast of Maine. She recently organized a conference at Maine’s best-known site, the Whaleback Shell Midden State Historic Site in Damariscotta. The middens provide information about historic environmental and climatic conditions, as well as about ancient cultural practices. Alice has surveyed six middens so far, with funding from Maine Sea Grant.
Beth Peters Uniacke ‘08G is assistant director of early engagement for The Ohio State Alumni Association. She presented at the 2017 Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District V Conference in Chicago.
