Sergeant Jason Luce received the Supervisor of the Year award from the Maine Warden Service.
Tim Doak G is the superintendent of RSU 39 and MSAD 20 and has been recognized as 2018 Maine State Superintendent of the Year. His career in education has included the Madawaska School District, Fort Kent Community High School, and 10 years teaching at the University of Maine at Fort Kent before becoming superintendent. He is currently keeping himself busy overseeing the construction of a new $50 million elementary school building in Caribou.
Gayle Zydlewski, Ph.D., an associate professor in the University of Maine School of Marine Sciences, has been named director of the Maine Sea Grant College Program. Her research seeks to understand the impact of environmental conditions on fish behavior and physiology and their relationship with population dynamics.
Michael Lane, a partner at Preti Flaherty, has been named co-chairman of the Maine Real Estate and Development Associations Public Policy Committee in Portland.
