Happy 2021, Class of 1950!
Our class Reunion couldn’t take place in person last fall, as originally planned,
because of COVID-19 restrictions. However, the university held online virtual
events during the September Reunion. Len Minsky was among the participants.
Ruth Holland Walsh was disappointed not to be able to travel to Orono to
participate in an in-person Reunion in September. She said she missed not
seeing other people, but was pleased to hear that alumni participated in virtual
events.
Ruth and her little dog, Toby, still get outside to walk each day. Ruth’s computer
isn’t currently working, so she relies on her phone, and would love to hear from
people. Although she was born in Wyoming and lived in many places, including
Kansas, Hawaii, Washington, D.C., and elsewhere, Ruth has great loyalty to
Maine and the University of Maine.
