Clippings have been slim recently, so please use my addresses to keep me and
us updated.
As I write this, the sky is hazy with smoke from wildfires burning to the north and
south of us. We are challenged in these difficult times with compounding
problems to find something to uplift us. I find myself turning to things I can
control: I bake, creating order out of chaos; I read, finding solace in stories of
others; I video chat with my grandchildren in England, bringing me joy with every
interaction. We do what we can do. I wish all of us a speedy return to normalcy.
Keep well and safe.
