Hello, Class of 2018!
I would like to extend my heartfelt thoughts to all of you at this time as we
navigate through this pandemic. It is truly a somber time as we face the coming
winter months and remain hyper-vigilant to protect ourselves and others from this
dreaded virus. We are forever Black Bears and have unknown strengths yet to
be developed, and we will keep strong together.
With that said, I don’t have much news to share. I have been extremely busy
back in my volunteer roles at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center
NICU, working in the Cuddler Program as well as volunteer coordinator, food
service, at CancerCare. Luckily our schools reopened this past September,
which permitted me to substitute teach in the Bangor School Department.
Amy Lyons — a big congratulations to you! Amy was accepted at the American
University Washington College of Law. Amy was a graduate in international
affairs (with a concentration in international security) of the UMaine Business
School and the UMaine Honors College. Good luck, Amy!
Go Blue and stay safe!
