Hello, classmates! 2022 is a big year for our class as we will celebrate our 70th Reunion! It’s been 70 years since graduating from UMaine — can you believe it? The class leadership is discussing options for how we will gather to celebrate and we will keep you updated! Watch your mail and email for more information in the coming months.
We should all be very proud of our Class of 1952 Scholarship Fund. As of 8/31/2021, the principal value of our fund was $155,691 and the market value was $202,009. Thank you to all who have supported this fund over the years and for any donations made in the future.
Our Scholarship Fund provided $5,002 in scholarship assistance this academic year. The award was split between two students
Camron Jordan, from Fairfield, ME is a sophomore majoring in civil engineering. Camron is the great-grandchild of the late Harold (Lester) Jordan.
Elliot Gagnon-Victor is also a sophomore and is studying secondary education. He is from Ellsworth and is the grandson of Joan Vachon Victor.
In other news, we learned that Nancy Knowles Moore has moved to a new location in Arizona. She can be reached at 500 W. Camino Encanto, Apartment 127, Green Valley, AZ 85614-2816.
