Class of ’21 — this is your space for updates and class news.
What are you doing for work and fun, where are you living, and what other news would you like to share? Have any vacation plans? Let us know! Please submit your news on the UMaine Alumni Association website or at bit.ly/3wu5acG
The Alumni Association needs a member of the Class of ’21 to become the class correspondent. The job is simple — it just requires writing the news twice a year so it can be included in the magazine. The Alumni Association helps you gather the news. Please contact abigail.zelz@maine.edu to become the class reporter.
Here’s what we know:

Iaryna Iasenytaska returned to her native Kiev, Ukraine, after earning her degree in international affairs at UMaine. She spoke to the Bangor Daily News via email about the Russian invasion, saying that the Geneva Convention has no importance to Russia. “Freedom has a high price, but it is certainly worth fighting for,” she emphasized.
Brian Cook is working at Sebago Technics as a survey technician.
Jeremy Swayman joined the Boston Bruins as goaltender last year and has enjoyed becoming part of the NHL.
How about the rest of you? Please share your news and have a great summer!
