Marwa Hassanien G was chosen to be chair of the Bangor School Committee, which oversees the city’s public school system. She has been vocal about addressing racism at Bangor High School and devoting more resources to social services and suicide prevention. Marwa is director of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Northern Light Health.
Jessica Barry G is a family nurse practitioner in Bucksport, ME.
