Greetings, Class of ’04! As I write this, it’s only a couple days into fall in this part of the world and as usual fall has not arrived in Texas. We’re still in what feels like the dog days of summer, a never-ending trend of 90+ degree days. I was lucky enough to go home to Maine for a weekend in September to photograph a wedding in Acadia National Park, so I’m grateful I did get a little break from the heat, albeit only a few days. Wherever you are in the world, please reach out to send me your updates about life. We’ve got a handful of things to share this season!
Dr. Aaron MacArthur was recently recognized as Chiropractor of the Year by the Maine Chiropractic Association. He practices at Portland Chiropractic Neurology.
Erica Morrison ’10G has been hired as the assistant principal of the George J. Mitchell School in Waterville, ME. She had been teaching special education at the school for four years prior to this new role. She is a twice graduate of the University of Maine, earning her master’s in education in 2010. This summer she graduated from the University of New England with a certificate of advanced study in educational leadership.
In the spring of last year, Rebecca Edmondson was recognized as Teacher of the Year for Hancock County. She has taught music at the Conners Emerson School on Mount Desert Island since 1990. She is the founder and conductor of The Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra for Young Musicians.
Ashley Daigle has joined Casco Bay Wealth Advisors as an associate advisor. Previously, she worked for Pruco Securities. And rounding out the recent hires, Mary McIntosh Allen has started a new position as infection control practitioner at Cary Medical Center in Caribou.
