The Class of 2023 celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. The class kicked things off at Buchanan Alumni House with a cocktail reception followed by a Pat’s Pizza party. The following classmates were in attendance; here is an update on what they are doing now.
Stacey Willis Dand started a new business called Ginger World Travel, combining her marketing background with her love for travel. As a travel advisor specializing in cruise, she’s enjoying sending clients on adventures all over the world. Check out her website: gingerworldtravel.com.
Fred Harner has been named vice president of streaming and digital for CBS Stations. Harner is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for eight CBS News and Stations’ local streaming channels in the Eastern US as well as Dallas-Fort Worth. Fred has held leadership roles in multiplatform content creation for the XFL, regional sports networks SportsNet New York and YES Network, and ESPN. Fred lives in NYC with his family.
Dennis O’Neill is the president of Beacon Consulting Group, a company that he founded in 2003. Beacon is a true leader in the Construction Consulting/ Surety Consulting profession. Prior to starting his firm, Dennis managed the NY regional office for a large construction services consulting firm. Dennis resides in Reading, MA, with his wife, Laura, and their three children.
Ken Light lives in Gorham and is currently a VP of engineering at American Rheinmetell Systems. Myron Chaplin lives in Bowdoin, working at Tectonic Engineering as a senior geotechnical engineer. Wade Amos lives in Newburyport, MA, and is a senior process engineer at Mantel Capture.
Amy Nichols Pierce lives in Gray, ME, and works as a cash manager at SeaCoast Management. Bethany Austin Light of Gorham is the current office manager for Willis Real Estate. Karen Cyr Cummings lives in Windham, ME, and works for Bank of America as a senior vice president credit officer. Dee Daigle Saucier ’96G works for the Maine Department of Education as a literacy specialist and dyslexia coordinator. Todd Saucier ’97G is a VP and account executive for United Insurance and manages the company’s office in Presque Isle, ME.
Personally, I am a managing director of equity trading for Siebert Williams Shank. Recently, I was appointed to the executive board of the Security Traders Association, a national grassroots organization that represents the securities industry. In addition, I’m on the current board of the Security Traders Association of NY and board member of the National Organization of Investment Professionals. I live with my family and three children on Long Island, NY.
