Laura Crockett Blake was promoted to VP, Northeast Regional Market Manager of Bangor Savings Bank. Laura lives with her husband, Robert ’01, and two children in Hampden.
Shirar Wilder Patterson ’03G is making moves as the newly elected board president of the Maine Association of Nonprofits. Shirar is the president and CEO of Heart of Maine United Way in Bangor and has served on MANP’s board since 2014.
In January, the Maine Senate confirmed retired U.S. Brigadier General Diane Dunn G as the first woman to lead the Maine Army National Guard. The vote was 33-1. Diane has also served as the first woman to command a brigade in the Maine Army National Guard and the first female general officer in the 200-year history of the Maine Army National Guard. Diane also addressed the graduates at UMaine’s commencement ceremonies in May.
