Jodie Treworgy Griffith was named human resources manager for Dead River Company. She brings over 20 years of experience to the company. In her role, Jodie focuses on employee retention, performance management, compensation, training, and employee experience. She previously served as the managing director for Manpower’s location in Portland.
Kevin Gagne was recently named Lewiston’s public works director. Having already served 30 years in various positions, he will now manage more than 100 staff, over 150 vehicles, and a $30 million budget. Kevin is a member of the Maine Water Utilities Association and a Maine licensed professional engineer.
Matt Harmon ’22G, senior vice president of claims for MEMIC, was the recent recipient of the MaineMBA Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes a graduate who has significantly contributed to leadership and innovation for their field or community. Matt has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. In his role, he oversees the company’s largest department and manages workers’ compensation claims activity nationwide.
Derik Goodine, a Brewer native, was named the town manager of Castine, ME, last spring.
Peter “Andi” Vigue ’98G was inducted as a 2024 Laureate in Junior Achievement’s Maine Business Hall of Fame last fall. Andi is CEO of Cianbro Corporation.
I regretfully would like to inform our class that Shawn P. McBreairty passed away. Shawn was a conservative activist from Hampden who voiced his opposition to teachers and school boards about their curriculum.
