The 2021 Alumni Achievement Awards celebration, which showcases and honors the extraordinary success of UMaine alumni and friends, will be held as a produced 90-minute online program. The program will highlight a collection of feature stories about each of our 2021 honorees and will be co-hosted by broadcast personalities Ric Tyler of Maine’s WVOM-FM and JC Monahan of WBTS-TV, Boston’s NBC affiliate. Prominent Black Bear alumni will narrate stories, and discuss how the various lives, careers, and stories of this year’s honorees intertwine through the experience of attending and graduating from UMaine, “the college of our hearts, always.”
