Three board members have assumed leadership positions at the UMaine Alumni Association. Robert M. Frank III ’88, Kristen McAlpine ’06, ’08, and Justin Labonte ’10 (pictured left to right above) recently stepped into new roles.
Frank is the new president of the UMaine Alumni Association. He is a senior principal, chief business development officer, and director of commercial and civic studios at WBRC Architects/Engineers as well as a civil engineer. He replaces Julia Munsey ’02, who served as president from 2016 to 2020.
Kristen McAlpine is the organization’s new vice chair. She is assistant vice president, senior business development and corporate sales officer at First National Bank.
Justin Labonte is now treasurer of the Alumni Association. Labonte works as manager of financial reporting at Emerson Automation Solutions.
