I have just one item to share this issue. Louise Ouellet Kirkland sent an update from Sun City West, AZ, where she is enjoying retirement. She says there are “lots of clubs to join to learn new hobbies along with exercise routines. Traveling throughout the state affords new opportunities for learning and meeting new people.” She shared her contact information, so if you want to get in touch with her, let me know.
I’m hoping to hear from any of you who attended our 50th Reunion. Drop me a line if you were there and tell me about it!
The Alumni Association reports that those who attended had a wonderful time! Attendees enjoyed campus tours, receptions, guest speakers, luncheons, dinners, a cocktail hour at the President’s House, and much more! Classmate Greg Johnson planned a wonderful reception at the Penobscot Valley Country Club, where classmates enjoyed very tasty appetizers, pizza, and drinks. So many stories were told, and the room was full of laughter. The Class of 1971 and some members of 1970 also came to that event. Everyone had a great time, and the Alumni Association looks forward to hosting us for our 55th in 2027!
