Allan Freedman sent me an update last December and I filed it where I would be able to retrieve it easily and then did not do said retrieve. Apologies Allan. Allan retired from a 40-year career in his own practice of hematology and oncology in the Atlanta area. He and Paula have many projects to keep them entertained in retirement including visiting daughter Mindy in New York City, where she works for Kleinfeld Bridal and appears on “Say Yes to the Dress.”
Lucius Sung dropped a note from home in Texas. He spent a “charmed” summer of 2020 in Hong Kong hiking and stream trekking. He sent a short video of some pretty amazing climbing a wall of water. He was prompted to get in touch by the MAINE Alumni Magazine’s article honoring Paul Plourde’s achievements.
Sadly, we lost Roger Carr in June after a long battle with multiple sclerosis and cancer. He and Judy Dalton Carr ‘75 lived in Fitchburg. Their daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband and son reside in New Hampshire. Roger was an award-winning engineer at General Electric and active in his community. Contributions in Roger’s memory may be made to the UMaine Foundation for the new engineering building.
