Now that we are full into the cold, dark winter months, I hope you are staying warm and cozy.
This is my last column — if you’d like to become the Class of ’83 correspondent, please contact Abby Zelz at the UMaine Alumni Association at abigail.zelz@maine.edu.
Here is the most recent news from your classmates. Cindy Jennings ’95G has retired from the Old Town Public Library after 14 years as the director. Peter Owen, city manager for the city of Bath, has retired. The Topsham MSAD 75 district school board has appointed Robert Lucy ’87G as the district’s interim superintendent until June 30, 2022. And UMaine softball coach Mike Coutts ’90G has stepped down to become the head coach at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden Colorado.
I hope your year is off to a good start. Please consider becoming the new Class of ’83 correspondent, so we can share the news in future magazines.
