Class of 1985 Summer 2024 Class Note

Hi all! Not much to report this time. What’s new with you? Retirement? New hobby? Kids getting married? Grandchildren? Travel?

Speaking of retirement, congratulations to Jim Boothby ’98G, ’03 CAS, who retired in June from Regional School Unit 25 (Bucksport, Orland, Verona Island, and Prospect) after a 33-year career in education, with the last 18 years as superintendent of schools.

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Maine elected officers for its 2024 board of directors and elected Mark Adams, Sebago Technics (South Portland, Bridgton, Sanford), as president-elect and alternate national director.

Mark Morrison is a member of the Morrison family that was recognized with the Fogler Legacy Award by the UMaine Alumni Association last spring. His family has a proud Black Bear tradition.

While you’re out making memories this summer, drop me a line or send a photo, especially if you’re hanging out with your UMaine friends!
