With the warmer days of summer upon us, I hope everyone has plans to meet up with friends and family. After all the Zoom meetings, gatherings, and happy hours, it sure feels great to see people in person. If you spend time with classmates, we’d love to hear the details!
In March, Andrew Robinson was selected by Maine Gov. Janet Mills to serve as a Maine District Court Judge. Andrew served as the district attorney for Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties for the past eight years and has been a prosecutor in central Maine since 1999. He lives in Farmington with his wife and three children. Congratulations, Andrew!
An organization founded by Deanna Lothrop House ’93G and her husband, Paul, received an anonymous gift of $1.4 million to support outdoor retreats for veterans and their families. This generous gift retires the debt of the organization, the House in the Woods, and will allow them to devote more resources to its outdoor retreats. This organization was created in 2010 to honor their son Joel, who was killed while serving in Iraq, and has since served about 1,700 service members and their families.
Have a wonderful summer, everyone.
