Hello, fellow members of the Class of 1994. We hope you are enjoying your summer and feel compelled to point out that we are only a little more than a year out from our 30th Reunion. We really hope that reminding (nagging?) you well in advance will encourage you to consider heading up to Orono in October 2024 to join us in celebrating this milestone. Alternately, if we annoy you enough during this countdown period, you’ll know where to find us if you want to tell us to shut up in person.
In the meantime, your co-columnist Beth Watson Calhoun is now the state regent for the Maine State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Maine DAR has 20 chapters throughout the state with approximately 940 members.
Additionally, Susan Silsby Howland ’95G joined Allen Insurance and Financial as director of human resources. Susan lives in Camden with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. Christina Strong D’Appolonia was inducted into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame. Christine played basketball at UMaine and was also the Miss Maine Basketball winner and Press Herald Athlete of the Year in 1990. We’d love to hear more about what you’ve been up to lately — or even not so lately. Drop us an email and fill us in.
