Class of 1995 Class Note

Winter is upon us, yet again, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention what a wonderful summer and fall we had.

Only one update this time around, from my good friend Clint Deschene. Clint is working in his new role as Orono town manager, following his previous role at the Aroostook Area Agency on Aging. Clint previously managed the towns of Bradford, Hermon, and Auburn before returning to Presque Isle in 2014 to be an assistant superintendent for business at SAD 1. He plans to eventually relocate to Orono, and I know he’s enjoying being close to this daughter, who is a freshman at UMaine. At the time of his hire, Clint looked forward to “being part of something new, exciting, and fresh” and noted, “I see an energetic, positive community, and I can’t wait to grow that even more.” Congratulations, Clint, Orono is lucky to have you!

Our 30th Reunion is coming up in 2025 and I’m sure we’d all like to connect before October Homecoming. Coincidentally, it is also the Alumni Association’s 150th anniversary, too. Let’s find a way to celebrate this year — drop me a note about where you are!
