Melissa McLaughlin Crowe coordinates the MFA program in creative writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she teaches poetry and publishing. She is the author of Dear Terror, Dear Splendor, and earned the Iowa Poetry Prize for her recently published collection of poems, Lo. She lives in Wilmington, NC.
Timothy Doak G is the new superintendent of schools for the York School Department. He previously served as superintendent of schools for both Eastern Aroostook RSU 39 (Caribou and Stockholm) and RSU 86/MSAD 20 (Fort Fairfield).
Margaret Nagle G, former director of communications for the University of Maine, retired this past spring after nearly 40 years of service. She had led the news services staff in the Division of Marketing and Communications, and she managed UMaine Today. She earned the Outstanding Professional Employee Award from the Professional Employees Advisory Council in 1994, and the Steve Gould Award for service to the university in 2021. She taught journalism courses including feature writing and public affairs reporting.
Jason Simcock G is senior vice president, senior government banker at Northeast Bank in Portland. He previously worked as vice president, director of government banking at Androscoggin Bank.
