Congratulations to Shauna Cameron, FACHE on her appointment as the chief executive officer of Houlton Regional Hospital. She started that role in early January 2024. Shauna has over 20 years of progressive healthcare experience and is well versed in rural healthcare. She most recently served in executive level leadership roles in New Hampshire and South Carolina. Shauna and her husband, David, were looking forward to becoming a part of the Houlton community.
Also, congratulations to Nicole Devoe Lewis on her appointment to the board of the United Way of Southern Maine in November 2023. Nicole is the senior vice president of retail operations and retail services at Hannaford Supermarkets.
Wayne Harvey was promoted to physician practice manager at Northern Light Health Cancer Care of Maine in February. Wayne joined NLH in March of 2022 in talent acquisition serving multiple hospitals within the NLH system. Now he manages the health information systems team and the cancer genetics department at the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute in Brewer, ME.
Tony ’99G and Lori Doucette Tomah ‘00G and their daughter Natalie were featured in a UMaine article regarding Natalie’s decision to follow her parents’ footsteps by attending the university, starting in the fall of 2023. The family lives in Smithfield, RI. Tony is the director of technology at a school district in Massachusetts. You can read more about the family at: shorturl.at/eruzA.
Beth Jones Earle reports that she transitioned from elementary classroom teacher to reading interventionist at RSU 14 in February. Beth, her husband, Jon, and son Griffin live in Windham. Best of luck, Beth, in your new role!
