Class of 2002 Class Note

Hello, Class of 2002! 

Congratulations are in order for Lindsay Seward, who recently received the 2024 UMaine Presidential Outstanding Teaching Award. Lindsay has been a faculty member at our alma mater for more than two decades and was previously the recipient of the Faculty Mentor Impact Award in 2023, Faculty Teaching Award in 2013, and Advisor of the Year in 2012. 

Alanna Stevenson was recently announced as the new principal at St. Michael School in Augusta. Alanna had been serving as the principal at St. Dominic Academy in Auburn since 2019.

Katie Braggins Rossignol is philanthropy officer at the UMaine Foundation. She has worked in higher education since graduation, both at Husson University, where she earned her MBA, and at the University of Maine. Katie and her family live in Passadumkeag.

Finally, Sarah Skiff Dunbar is now the principal at Surry Elementary School. Sarah previously taught at Surry Elementary but had been serving both as part-time principal on Frenchboro and as an education specialist for a community project through MDI Bio Lab.
