Class of 2003 Class Note

 

Congratulations to Johanna Szillery G for her promotion to vice president at the engineering firm of Haley Ward in Bangor, ME. Johanna has over 15 years’ experience in natural resource and regulatory permitting focusing on wetland delineation for clients. 

Chad Mullin was promoted to executive director at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland. Chad has been with the organization since 2011. He has a long history with Habitat for Humanity starting with a spring break trip to Coatesville, PA, and then joining AmeriCorps serving Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, NC. 

Mike St. Pierre, PE ’06G was promoted to principal geotechnical engineer at S. W. Cole Engineering. Mike has been with the firm since 2010 and serves as president of the board of directors of SWCE Holdings. 

Kathryn “Katie” Richardson is the current curatorial assistant at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University in Stow, MA. Katie is tasked with ensuring the most complete and accurate information regarding all aspects of living collections. Her true fascination is with the interaction between people and plants. She has published two pieces on her work. 

Eric Ritchie is president and COO of Sargent Corporation, headquartered in Orono, where building and maintaining a quality workforce is a large part of what he does. Eric has been part of Sargent since 2018 where he started as general manager of Sargent Materials. He has been in construction since graduating from UMaine.

Bryce Boynton just celebrated 17 years of owning Five Star Painting franchise in West Palm Beach and Martin County, FL. Five Star Painting is the second-longest continually operating location in the United States out of 260 locations. Prior to this Bryce spent four years with a start-up called Bravo, a now defunct beverage innovation company. He lives in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with his wife, child, and dog, and visits his family camp on Beech Hill Pond in Otis each summer.
