Greetings, Class of 2004! It is hard to believe that next year will mark twenty years since we graduated. It feels like yesterday, and I am constantly reminded by how fast time flies. Over these past 20 years there have been so many changes and adventures in our lives and I’m happy to share a few of those with you this season.
Wright-Pierce engineering firm announced many new appointments and promotions this year. One of those was for Ryan Wadsworth who was appointed as Wastewater Process Engineering Manager. This past spring the Maine Department of Transportation announced that Vinalhaven native William Geary is the new director of the Maine State Ferry Service. And Katie Brooks has transitioned industries for the fourth time in her successful career. From healthcare, to operating a golf course with her husband, to owning a trucking company with twenty routes covering eastern Maine, she is now in the plant business! The former Bagley’s Greenhouse in Orono is now The Garden Shed with new, expanded offerings and a renovated greenhouse. Congrats, Katie! What a fun adventure!
As always, if you have news to share, please don’t hesitate to email me. I’d love to include your life adventures in our class notes.
