Greetings, classmates!
I hope this column finds you and yours all healthy and well. I only have a few updates this time around, so please keep the email updates coming!
Stephanie McCoy Mulligan of Lincoln, ME, owns McSea Books, which publishes children’s books that address topics related to exploring the outdoors and children’s surroundings.
“I never had any intention of running a publishing company. I started two years ago with my little book about lobstering, How to Catch a Keeper! and now we are on track as a traditional publishing company working on 12 titles in the next two years,” she explained. Stephanie is married to classmate Matthew Mulligan. See more at mcseabooks.com.
Ruth Billings Tainter ’10G has joined the team at Bucksport Regional Health Center (BRHC) as one of their new FNPs. Ruth is an experienced nurse practitioner and had worked for many years in the area before joining BRHC.
Also in Bucksport, Aaron Ward is now Bucksport High School’s new athletic director and assistant principal. Aaron has a long history of working with kids, from being a social studies teacher at Mattanawcook Academy to coaching both their girls’ and boys’ tennis teams.
Michele Jason Parks lives in Winterport, where she is employed at Haley Power Services.
A big congratulations goes out to Elise Baldacci, who left working in Maine state government to join the Maine Credit Union League/Synergent as its senior vice president of policy. Elise will use her prior job experience in government to lead governmental affairs, risk management, and compliance efforts.
Finally, we received notice that Alicia Anne McConkey is currently in a graduate program for social welfare. She received her BA in sociology.
