If you can believe it, Class of 2009, in a few short months we will be celebrating our 15th Reunion at the college of our hearts always! Mattawamkeag, ME, native and 2017 Maine Principal of the Year Dan Welch G was recently named head of school at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, ME. Mary Freeman G has been appointed the GEAR UP Maine RISE student services director at Styrino, a Readfield, ME-based nonprofit focused on professional development. Meanwhile, professional land surveyor Jacob Bartlett has been named regional manager of Sebago Technics’ office in southern Maine. Previously holding positions as financial adviser and assistant vice president for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Sundance Campbell ’15G has been promoted to resident manager with the same firm.
Recently recognized for excellence in their fields, Eric Roy G, founder and chief scientist of Hydroviv (now part of Culligan International), was the 2023 presenter of the University of Maine Libby Lecture in Natural Resource Policy, and leader of the Skowhegan, Canaan, Mercer, Smithfield, Cornville, and Norridgewock, ME, school district Jonathan Moody G was named the 2024 Maine Superintendent of the Year.
