Congratulations to Taylor Dore Terry ’18G for winning the Women’s Tackle Football D3 National Championship with the Cincinnati Cougars! En route to the championship, the Cougars defeated the Maine Mayhem in the National Conference Championship in a thrilling matchup in Lewiston.
Samantha Poll ’19G, ’23G, who teaches eighth grade science in Winterport, is one of nine teachers elected for the National STEM Scholars Program, which provides advanced training, network building, and support for a “big idea” classroom project. Samantha is using the award to expand her renewable energy curriculum. As a future parent of a student in Winterport schools, I was so inspired by this achievement!
