Hello, Class of 2016! My name is Talia, and I’m the new columnist for our class. I’m excited to share that I moved back up to Maine this past March and am working in Human Resources at Wayfair in Brunswick. I also recently completed my master’s in industrial/organizational psychology! Patrick Ricard is in his second season with the Baltimore Ravens as a fullback/defensive lineman.
Audra Richards joined the Metropolitan Riveters of the National Women’s Hockey League, based out of Newark, NJ.

Emily Boardman recently graduated from the University of Stirling Institute of Aquaculture master’s program. She spent two months at the Sherbro River Estuary in Sierra Leone, studying oyster harvesters and ways they can increase production and profits.
Brandie Dziegiel is a printmaker and art educator living in Clearwater, FL. Recently, her relief prints were published in a Military Experience & The Arts bi-annual publication.
Abegayle Brown is finishing the advanced standing MSW program at the University of New England.
Sonia Biswas is currently a third-year medical student and just came back to Bangor, ME, to do her third-year clinical rotations. She is hoping to come back and practice in Maine after her residency!
Sarah Thibeault got a permanent job with the Forest Service shortly after graduating as a silviculture forester on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona. She is in charge of writing prescriptions for harvests, reforestation, insects and disease programs, and providing specialist reports for large-scale landscape projects. She has also been accepted as Region 3’s #1 candidate for the National Advanced Silviculture Program (NASP). This program will take her to four different universities over the course of a year to certify her as a silviculturist for the Forest Service — she is one of the youngest ever!
Tarynne Scott and Michael Schuman ’15 moved from their hometown of Topsham, ME, to Corpus Christi, TX. Tarynne is a full-time faculty member of Southern Careers Institute while finishing her master’s degree in leadership and organizational studies from the University of Southern Maine online.
Sean Decloux is a project manager for Marine Works and Parks currently working on the Port Lands Flood Protection Project. The project provides flood protection to the southeastern portion of Toronto by reshaping the Don River Valley as it enters Lake Ontario. It is one of the largest, most complex projects currently taking place in North America and is considered a mega-project at $1.3 billion.
Samantha Hutchinson (now Samantha Cummons) and John Cummons got married on October 6, 2018, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Camden, ME. They live in Northport, ME.
And Shannon O’Neil married Levi Frye ’17 in Vermont. They currently reside in Brentwood, NH.
