All Maine Women Reaches 100 Years

All Maine Women Centennial Celebration to honor 100 years of leadership, service, UMaine tradition, and academic achievement.

In April 1925, 80 women met in Balentine Hall on the University of Maine Campus to found All Maine Women – an honor society recognizing distinguished leadership, scholarship and service to the University and campus community by outstanding women of the rising senior class. Now, a century later, All Maine Women alumni will gather in Orono to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the organization’s founding. The All Maine Women Centennial Celebration will take place beginning on Friday, April 25 through April 27 at the University of Maine campus in Orono, Maine. Alumni will gather on Friday evening, reliving the spirit of camaraderie often found by members at Woodman’s in Orono. Saturday events will include morning registration, followed by campus tours and community service, and a Centennial Gala in the evening. The weekend ends with a Sunday morning panel recognizing the impacts of women’s leadership at the University of Maine, on-campus, and within the broader Maine community.

All Maine Women alumnae are invited to join the Celebration. Register now!
